About this spot
The Oriental Pearl Tower is a TV tower in Shanghai. Buit in 1994 it spans 468m high into the sky. Particularly interesting the tower gets once the lights turn on in the city and the sun sets. There are a lot of opportunities to take it, but this one is taken from the roof top of the "Super Brand Mall".
It's easily accessible during regular business hours. Just take the elevator to the top floor and then use the escalators to get to the roof top.

From there you can oversee all sykrises in Pudong and especially the view to the Pearl tower is unobstructed. But if you try to put up a tripod, you will quickly be asked to store it away by the security guards..
