About this spot
The Old Skeabost Road use to be the only connection with the north and south of the Isle of Skye in Scotland. This ancient path builds and was used by the first Celtic clans. Later, it was turned into a single road running over the Old Skeabost bridge connecting the north with Portree's capital town. A new dual road eventually replaced the road, and it was left alone in the middle of the Skeabost forest. The area is now well hidden under thick tree canapes and wildflowers, but it still reminds the old days.
