About this spot
The Oktogon in Zagreb, Croatia, is a stunning piece of architecture and a renowned shopping arcade. Its name comes from the octagonal courtyard at the center of the structure, a design feature that makes it a unique landmark in the city. This elegant, two-story building with a glass dome roof is located at the intersection of Ilica Street and Gundulićeva Street in the heart of the city. Built by architect Josip Vancaš in 1906 in the Secession style, it offers great opportunities for architectural photography.
