Nijukken Cherry Blossoms Road is an 8 km road filled with around 3000 cherries trees lining the sides of the road. 7 of the 8 kms is a straight road. This location is one of “The 100 Best Cherry Blossom in Japan” and “The 100 Best Roads in Japan". This road was originally built in 1903 for the imperial family to visit the family ranch. Hidaka town is famous for their racing horses thus why the imperial family had a ranch all the way up north in Hokkaido. The trees were planted later in 1916.
