Nero Beach & Kato Koufonisi lookout

This is a beautiful spot along the coast of Kato Koufonisia. Kato is an uninhabited sister island of mainland Koufonisia and it's famous for its beaches, coves, and pristine swimming/diving locations. You need a boat to get to the island, which leaves as a ferry services from the mainland according to a schedule. These are posted at the docks and buying a ticket is easy-peasy.

When you are visiting the island please bring all of your supplies, since there are no stores what so ever on the islands. One of the beaches has a little bar but opening times are shoddy at best, in 2022.

The island itself offers endless beauty and this photo spot isn't a fixed-spot, depending on your preference you can walk further up or further down on the ridge and get a different perspective. The content won't change, just your perspective.
