About this spot
This is a beautiful spot along the coast of Kato Koufonisia. Kato is an uninhabited sister island of mainland Koufonisia and it's famous for its beaches, coves, and pristine swimming/diving locations. You need a boat to get to the island, which leaves as a ferry services from the mainland according to a schedule. These are posted at the docks and buying a ticket is easy-peasy.

Nero Beach is famous for its darker sand and a fairly large bay that shield you somewhat of any wind.

There are wild animals walking around the beach, mountain goats I believe, they will eat your food if left out, otherwise they are harmless.

My cover photo is taken from the secondary viewpoint, about where you have to start climbing to get onto the plateau above.
