About this spot
Veliki Snežnik (1796m) is the highest non-alpine peak in Slovenia. It is located in Southeast Slovenia, close to Croatian border. From the top there are incredible views to all Slovenia, parts of Croatia and into Italy. On the top, there is a small, modest mountain hut, where one can have a meal or overnight.
