Respect the Sadhu's and pilgrims you meet. Establish a relationship with them before photographing them - don't treat them as a sideshow.

About this spot
The Maha Kumbh mela is a major pilgrimage and festival in Hinduism, the biggest of the 4 events that take place in turn each 3 years. Every 12 years millions of pilgrims come to Allahabad to take a holy dip at the Sangam. The Sangam is the most auspicious spot at the confluence of the Ganges, the Yamuna and the mythical Saraswati rivers. The numerous auspicious bathing times are determined by the phases of the moon, and the festival last around 5 months. The next Kumbh at Allahabad will be in 2025
