About this spot
The Long groyne is one of Bournemouth's oldest groynes at over sixty years old and is regularly submerged underwater. Unfortunately access onto the groyne was closed to the public in the summer of 2019 after a detailed inspection using sonar and laser equipment revealed structural damage.
