About this spot
Lom Stave Church, or Lom Stavkyrkje, is one of 28 remaining stave churches in Norway. The Lom church, built around 1160, is one of the larger stave churches. Like most churches in Norway, there is a church yard surrounding the church used as a cemetery. The cemetery has both both recent and historic graves and there are a number of older grave markers leaning against the fence.
