About this spot
The 1909-vintage Lime Kiln Lighthouse sits atop Lime Kiln Point, a short rocky bluff on the west side of San Juan Island. The point and the lighthouse are part of Lime Kiln State Park. This spot is also one of the best whale-watching spots on the west coast, with pods of killer, humpback and minke whales passing through the area May through September.
