About this spot
Kingston Lacy is the jewel in the crown of the Bankes' 16000 acre estate left by the family to the National Trust in 1981. A 7- acre Japanese garden with bamboo, maples and cherry trees was created in the 1900s. Inside the grounds is a 3 mile woodland trail with picnic areas and a nature play trail. With parklands containing a Philae Obelisk and formal gardens there really is something for everyone not just photographers.
