About this spot
Japan's No. 1 crane migration. Every year in Izumi over 10,000 cranes of various species call this part of Japan home. These cranes can be seen only in December and January. The 2 most common cranes you can see here are the Hooded crane and the White-naped crane while you may also rarely encounter the Common crane, Sandhill crane, or the Siberian crane.
