About this spot
A lovely alpine meadow and a couple of lakes for capturing perfect reflections of The Mountain are the main reasons for grabbing your camera and making the demanding trek to Indian Henry's Hunting Ground. The meadows are located on the westside of the mountain and the sunsets are another outstanding feature of the area. Consider backpacking in and spending a night either at the Devil's Dream Camp or in the nearby Pyramid Peak Backcountry area. (Note: Indian Henry's Hunting Ground is located on the very popular Wonderland Trail so it is recommended to make backcountry camping reservations before you arrive.)
