About this spot
The HMS Belfast is a former Royal Navy warship. The ship is one of ten Town-class light cruisers built for the Royal Navy in the 1930s. HMS Belfast fought in the Second World War during D-Day and in the Arctic (where the ship participated in the hunt for the Scharnhorst), and later also during the Korean War. Today the ship lies in the Thames in London, and is furnished as a museum ship as part of the Imperial War Museum.
