About this spot
Het Eilandje has not stolen its name: the oldest port area in Antwerp is surrounded by water. Today, port activity is concentrated more to the north, but the feeling of port still dominates here. Experience the old atmosphere of the unloading quay with monumental warehouses, lanterns, hangars and cobblestones. Thanks to three crowd pullers, the MAS | Museum aan de Stroom, the Red Star Line Museum and the Port House, once again underline the bond between the city and the water.
