Little San Salvador Island, also called Half Moon Cay, is a small private island in the Bahamas. It is accessible to the public only by cruise ship, whose guests arrive in their hundreds if not thousands each day. Most will congregate in the beach resort area, but a 20 minute walk north will lead you to the Pegasus Ranch, where guests can pay for horseback riding sessions. This can be an interesting photo opportunity as the horses ride up and down the beach, sometimes in the water.
