About this spot
Gundulićeva Poljana (Gundulić Square) in the Old Town has an open-air market with numerous stalls packed with seasonal fruit and vegetables as well as other local products such as dried lavender, lavender oil, locally produced Grappa and all kinds of brandies.
In the square itself is a large statue of Dubrovnik’s 17th century poet Ivan Gundulić after whom the square was named. There’s also a beautiful “Lion” fountain on the corner of one of the buildings, but I’ll leave this up to you to discover for yourself!
