About this spot
Grand Central is a shopping centre located above New Street railway station in Birmingham, England that opened in 1971 as Birmingham Shopping Centre. The building's steel skin was designed to reflect trains pulling in and out of the station and the surrounding cityscape, while the atrium is covered in a roof made of transparent ethylene tetrafluoroethylene plastic.
