Abandoned and decaying building - take care where you step

About this spot
Govan was once a small farming community large enough for a post office, school, a couple of churches, and several businesses with a train passing through. In 1909 it had a population of 114 but, a fire later destroyed much of the business district and many stores. The 1933 bypass of the town by highway 2 expedited the town's demise and the school closed in 1942.
