About this spot
Gostuša is one of the old villages of Stara Planina (Old mountain) massif in Eastern Serbia. Once prosperous, the village now only has about 100 inhabitants. Many of them leave the village in winter to Pirot and other towns nearby.
The village is known for distinct architecture, old houses used to be covered with flat stones. Many old houses still feature this roof style.
