As this is a religious building, the usual rules and regulations apply: no flash or tripod, don't get in the way of anyone who is worshipping etc.
About this spot
Gloucester Cathedral - over 1300 years old in places, and full of history. Tours are available to book (see website link for details). I didn't take a tour, I just wandered and didn't go into the crypt or up the tower. Maybe next time
