About this spot
The medieval fortress, built on a rock hanging over the river, dominates the Vézère valley. It is surrounded by walls and bordered by deep moats.

A large Renaissance Logis was built there between 1570 and 1576. It contains exceptional decor and furniture from the 16th and 17th centuries.

The terraced gardens and the walls are the eye-catcher. They were labeled “remarkable gardens” in 2004 by the Ministry of Culture. They will leave you with a memory of perfect harmony.
