Fort Ebey State Park is a 651-acre park set on the western side of Whidbey Island. It was originally constructed as a World War II coastal defense fort overlooking Admiralty Inlet. It gun battery was dug into a high bluff overlooking the water near Point Partridge. Today the gun emplacements and underground rooms are open for exploration. The park also has 25 miles of trails along the bluff, through the forest, and down to the beach.
