About this spot
The Flame Towers in Baku are the main landmark of the city. Their shape looks like flames and this reflects Azerbaijan's nickname: The Land of Fire. In the evening thousands of LED lamps light up the exterior of the towers in a sequence of colours and patterns. Here you can see them showing the colours of the national flag, and showing 'flames'. This waterfront location is a great place to photograph them from afar.
