The museum also has an extensive collection of historical and contemporary films, which it screens in its theaters. EYE also has an exhibition space that hosts temporary exhibitions on various aspects of film history, technology, and culture. EYE Film Institute Netherlands is open to the public every day except for national holidays and it's one of the most popular cultural attraction in Amsterdam.
