About this spot
The Deutz Suspension Bridge spans the River Rhine. When the bridge was first built in 1948, it was the world's first steel box girder bridge. It's not the most attractive bridge, but it offers great views of Rheinauhafen and Severinsbrücke to the south, Cologne Cathedral and Hohenzollern Bridge to the north.
