About this spot
Cobweb (also known as Spiders) bridge is a footbridge in the north of Sheffield city centre. Constructed in 2002, it offers an innovative solution to getting the riverside footpath over the river through the arched viaduct supporting the railway line above.
Suspended via cables, the bridge also features metal "spider" lighting overhead (complete with real life cobwebs!)
