Shoot with care
Be careful if shooting at night if shooting from the top of Hen hill especially ascending and descending the stairs.

About this spot
Clavell Tower is a grade 11 listed Tower built in a Tuscan style and stands eleven meters high and stands sentinel like at the top of Hen Cliff just east of Kimmeridge Bay. The tower was built in 1830 and in 2006 was moved back 25 metres from the crumbling cliff top. It has featured in a Style Council pop video and in a tv adaptation of the Black Tower . A favourite spot of Thomas Hardy novelist and ( in my opinion) one of the greatest poets ever.
