About this spot
Castle Hill is also known as Caesers' Camp, however it's not thought to be Roman. The Norman castle which stood here was probably constructed around 1095. The hill today doesn't offer a huge amount in itself (unless you're interested in old castle mounds- it's quite notable in that perspective - but what it offers the photographer is an excellent viewpoint over the vast Channel Tunnel terminal.
