About this spot
A landmark chain bridge that spans the River Danube between Buda and Pest, the western and eastern sides of Budapest. As well as being an interesting photographic subject it also has great views down river towards the Hungarian Parliament building. Interestingly, the bridge was designed by William Clark who also built Marlow Bridge in the UK in 1832, some 15 or so years previously - maybe as a trial run!
