About this spot
Gdansk is a very photogenic city, with plenty of photo spots. Some of the best and classic views of the old town are from across the Motlawa river. The most typical view includes the old harbour crane or Brama Żuraw.

The crane the most recognisable landmark of Gdańsk, erected in the style of Brick Gothic. From the very beginning it served both as a city gate as well as a harbour crane.
