About this spot
There is evidence of former tin mining along this stretch of coastline. This spot is one of Cornwall’s most iconic places, it was also the location for the filming of the BBC production, Poldark. Here the famous Crowns engine houses of Botallack Mine are dramatically located at the foot of the cliffs.
