About this spot
Lake Borst, better known to locals as the Mill Pond was used first by the Snoqualmie Mill in the late 1800s. In the 1910s-1990s, it was used by Snoqualmie Falls Lumber Co Mill which subsequently became Weyerhaeuser. The mill used to be located where Dirtfish (rally racing school) is to the northeast.
