Shoot with care
Stay on the path and don't pick or walk on the wildflowers to avoid damage to them.

About this spot
Cerro Castellan is an isolated butte that dominates the Santa Elena Canyon area in the southwest corner of Big Bend National Park. In spring the slopes are a mass of colour as the bluebonnets are in flower - some years bring a superbloom.
