About this spot
The Belgium Pier has a rich history and is now part of the national heritage. This unique structure - a 350-meter bridge in the sea - enjoys recognition and recognition far beyond the national borders.
Nowhere else is the confrontation with ebb and flow, the vastness of the North Sea and the power of the elements as intense as on the Belgium Pier.

Did you know that the very first cast iron pier dates from 1894? And that it was set on fire by the Germans in 1914? Finally, in 1933, a new concrete pier was built, which underwent a thorough renovation in 2003. Here you enjoy a spectacular view in all directions of the coast and sea.
