About this spot
The Big South Fork straddles the Tennessee & Kentucky state line north of Crossville Tennessee. This large area is on the Cumberland Plateau, one of the most bio-diverse areas in North America. The river flows north into the main Cumberland River and offers good kayaking/canoeing. Hiking difficulty ranges from easy to strenuous. Photography opportunities are numerous including night photography as the area is mostly rural.
