The Bempton Cliffs are part of a natural reserve, the Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI), and a Special Protection Area (SPA). Therefore, all photographers should follow the staff's instructions, respect the wildlife and stick to the paths.

About this spot
Bempton Cliffs are home to one of the UK's top wildlife spectacles, with around half a million seabirds gathering here between March and October to raise a family. The dramatic towering chalk cliffs overlooking the North Sea give photographers a unique viewpoint with excellent wildlife/bird photography opportunities.
The Bempton Cliffs are also recognised as one of the best photography sites for Puffins. They arrive early in May and stay almost the end of July.
