About this spot
The museum’s spectacular collection of artefacts is displayed in 13 exhibition halls and an open air gallery. The museum showcases regional artefacts from the stone age through to the Byzantine period, but the real attraction is the comprehensive exhibit of larger than life statues in the Halls of Emperors and Gods. All of these were excavated from the site at Perge. The Museum also houses in a dedicated hall an interesting collection of Anatolian sarcophagi.
