About this spot
Located in the area of Al-Ula within Al Madinah Region in the Hejaz, Saudi Arabia
Elephant Rock is a 52 m high natural formation surrounded by many other rock monoliths in a beautiful historic desert area. The elephant shaped rock has formed over millions of years as erosion factors affected the weakest parts in the mountain.

AlUla is an area approximately the size of Belgium in north-western Saudi Arabia, tucked away in a valley with palm groves running through it and sandstone cliffs all around.
