About this spot
Lago di Devero, or Codelago, is a man-made lake in the Ossola Valley, in Piedmont. The name comes from the dialect and means "lake on the lake".
The lake has a quite unusual shape and sits in a small subsidiary valley. The trek around the lake is quite epic, with gorgeous views over the deep blue waters and the rocky peaks. There are many creeks coming down from smaller and higher lake creating many beautiful waterfalls.
