About this spot
Aregno Beach in Algajola is mainly known as a famous surf spot and as the main kite surfing site of the island.

Its fishing port is charming, as well as its fortress facing the sea and what remains of the ancient Phoenician city on which it was built. The fortified castle of Algajola, built in the early sixteenth century is a historic monument that deserves a visit. Don't miss the small port of San Damiano, the citadel, and the Chapel of Saint-Michael erected by the sea in the twelfth century.
There is a great beach in Algajola (Aregno Beach) stretching more than one kilometer and two little less known and less crowded beaches (one at the port and the other next to the Citadel).
