United Kingdom Alderman's Hill

About this spot
Alderman’s Hill is perhaps the most defining hill of the Saddleworth area and one of the easiest to ascend. It rises at the end of the valley above Dove Stone Reservoir and presents its grassy slopes like a hill more suited to the Lake District.

There are outstanding views of the hill from the reservoir and indeed from the opposing hill of Ashway Rocks, but for this photographic location, it’s best to ascend Alderman’s itself to get the best photographs of the area.
