About this spot
Aysgarth falls are a series of waterfalls where the river Ure drops over a number of limestone ledges over a distance of 1km. The waterfalls are easily accessible, on the whole, although there is a tricky section to scramble down to get onto the rocky area below the lower falls, one of the prime shooting locations. Due to the ease of access and the beautiful nature of this section of the river, it's a very popular location with visitors all year around, so don't expect to have a peaceful time alone here!
