About this spot
Nine Ladies stone circle is a Bronze Age stone circle with nine upright stones. They are all made out of millstone grit and are less than a metre in
height. Around 40m away from the stone circle is the King Stone, which looks down to the circle. The stone circle is important to Pagans and on the solstices you will find them performing rituals. At any time of year the trees around the circle are lined with hanging charms.
