About this spot
Chatsworth House is renowned for many things and is the premier Stately Home in the UK. It is sculptured so much, that the course of the River Derwent was altered to suit the look of the area.

At the souther end of the grounds is Chatsworth Weir, a large cascade made from the River Derwent as it tumbles its way along.
