About this spot
Littonfields and the surrounding fields are
a closely crafted area of drystone walls.
Looking at the OS map, you can clearly see
the close concentration of patchwork fields surrounding the village. The fields have a real rural feel to them, often
roamed by farm life, and the grass is usually freshly mown in the summer.
This is a good opportunity to take some
different shots of the Peak, breaking away
from the traditional hillside vistas. It also is also a good chance to blow the cobwebs off the telephoto lens.
