Baslow Edge is a mile long gritstone edge that joins onto its more famous sibling, Curbar Edge. It is only separated by the road at Curbar Gap. While it may play second fiddle to Curbar Edge, it doesn’t mean it lacks character. It has
numerous weathered and curiously shaped rock formations such as the Anvil Stone and the carved sheep feed boulders.
Explore the moors further and you are very likely to start believing that you are walking in Scotland. Highland cattle can be found to roam the edge. While their menacing horns look scary, they are a timid bunch, begging to be
photographed. If you can and dare get close enough, that is - take care though!
