About this spot
The beginnings of this small church date back to the 11th century. The current look dates back to 18th century and the wall surrounding the cemetery was added much later. The church of Sočerga is still very much part of the parish, but you will rarely find it open.
The church is built in extremely beautiful surroundings in typical Karst terrain with many natural phenomena such as caves, exposed limestone rocks and cliffs.
