About this spot
The Statue of Liberty on Alki Beach is not exactly the same as the one found on an island in the New York Harbor. This statue is just 6 feet tall and was created by the Boy Scouts of America in 1952. Despite its tiny size, the statue is well loved by local Seattleites. Its location on the shores of the Puget Sound provides a foreground when photographing sunrises over the Puget Sound and Olympic Mountains.
